switching out the lights

When we built our home 3 years ago, we didn’t give much thought to the lighting. We went with all standard builder grade lighting knowing that we would most likely switch it all out later. Well, here we are 3 years later, one year before we put our house up for sale, switching out the lights. I have been searching for pendant lights for quite some time now for over the bar area, but I didn’t want to commit to anything because I could never find a ceiling fixture and pendant for over the bar at the same time. While browsing through target the other day I spotted these awesome baskets & knew right away I wanted to make some DIY pendants for the kitchen & for $8 a basket, I couldn’t beat the deal even if these lights were just temporary.
